VT-4/B2 Modular Dynamometer

VT-4/B2 Modular Dynamometer

Two axle modular dynamometer, equipped with two eddy current brakes with maximal braking torque 2000 Nm. It allows the measurement of power and torque in both inertial and braked modes, measurement of power on wheels in constant rpm mode and road-mode testing of the car. Full synchronization (1:1), enabling the measurement of the most modern cars with an active central differential or advanced traction control. Fully upgradeable. Standalone or in-pit.

[1] Mechanical connection between front and rear axles (synchronization) gives you an opportunity to measure modern AWD cars equipped with high tech systems controlling torque distribution between front and rear wheels, also 2WD cars equipped with advanced traction control system in which all the wheels must rotate in equal speed (otherwise car ECU will not allow to measure the car).

[2] 5750x3640 in surface-mounted version.

[3] Maximum power depends on engine torque characteristic and engine rotations. Cars with higher engine power can be measured with lower accuracy.

[4] Maximum power depends on eddy current brake rotations.
